LCC November Meeting

Our November meeting will be held by Zoom.

7:00pm: Review our bylaw changes as required by the state for all non-profit organizations. Please feel free to review our updated Constitution and Bylaws.

7:30pm: We will hear from a representative of 1471, Universal Health Care for all Washington.

Bylaws update:

Our thanks to Leschi resident and lawyer Mel Simburg for reviewing the new rules and letting us know that we needed to combine our constitution and bylaws. Most of the changes are updating; a few changes are simplifying. The biggest change is the Restricted Funds section. We recognize that bylaws are not everyone’s favorite topic of the week, but we all realize it is important to have guidelines for an organization and we encourage you to review those changes and be prepared to vote in January on these changes.
