Leschi Elementary School Update

Join us on April 27 for a day of community, commemoration, and music!

At 12pm on Saturday, April 27, we will welcome members of Powell S. Barnett’s family and former King County councilman Larry Gossett to rededicate the portrait of Mr. Barnett which adorns the entryway of our school.

Beginning at 1pm on the same day, our annual jazz concert sponsored by the Garfield Golden Grads student support group will commence, featuring Butch Harrison and Good Company! Attendance is free and open to all, but if you are able, please consider making a contribution to the Leschi PTA’s family support fund.

Our Annual Giving Campaign is currently in full swing and 10% of the funds raised will be shared with other low-income school communities in central and south Seattle. Please check with your employer as many will make matching contributions for charitable donations!
